Is Locimens a trading bot?

It is an AI automation platform for MT5. Licensed agents can analyze markets and execute trades ? but only inside limits you configure: kill switch, position caps, and transparent tool calls. Not a remote black-box bot you cannot inspect or stop.

Do I still have control if agents automate trades?

Yes ? that is the product. You set guardrails, watch every tool call, pause watchers, and hit the kill switch anytime. Automation runs on your machine under your rules.

What is the difference between demo and live MT5?

Beginner (free) includes one demo account. Pro and above unlock live MT5 connections with higher agent capability tiers per your subscription.

Where do I download the desktop app?

Create a free Beginner account, sign in, and use Download desktop on this page or the Marketplace. You receive a signed installer link for your entitlement tier (Light or full).

Where do I get the MT5 EA?

Purchase once on the website marketplace. After payment, download from Locimens desktop ? Agents ? Marketplace.

Does Locimens store my broker password?

No. Credentials stay in your local MT5 terminal. Cloud services handle identity, licensing, and billing only.

Can I use my own LLM?

Yes on Beginner and Pro ? connect Ollama (fully local, no API key needed) or OpenRouter (bring your key). Both route through the local LLM gateway so keys never touch the cloud. Pro Max will include a built-in Locimens LLM option ? coming soon.

Can I chat with agents inside the app?

Yes. Agent Chat is a built-in Locimens page (and optional floating widget). Pick an installed plugin agent, send messages, and get replies backed by the same MCP owner-message tool used for Telegram.

What can the Telegram bot do?

After you add your bot token in Settings ? Telegram, you can start/stop agents, read logs, check status, change LLM models, view task history, send messages to plugin agents, and capture app screenshots ? all from Telegram while Locimens desktop is running.
