PC requirements (Locimens + MetaTrader 5)
Locimens and MetaTrader 5 must run on the same Windows PC. Plan for both apps plus the local MCP bridge.
Baseline (cloud LLM)
Cloud LLMs (Ollama Cloud, OpenRouter, etc.) run off-machine and do not need extra RAM for model weights. Use this table for Locimens + MT5 alone:

If you run local models
You can also point Locimens at a local Ollama (or other OpenAI-compatible) server that loads models on your PC. Extra CPU, RAM, disk (and optionally GPU VRAM) then depend on which model you run — a small 1–3B model needs far less than a 7B, 13B, or larger one.
- Add the local model’s published requirements on top of the Locimens + MT5 baseline above.
- Check the model card / Ollama model page for size and recommended RAM before you pull it.
- SSD strongly preferred when storing and swapping local models.
- Underpowered machines may struggle with charts and agents even when inference is in the cloud; local models make that worse if RAM is already tight.
Notes
- Current MetaTrader 5 installers are 64-bit only — 32-bit Windows is not supported.
- A cloud VPS is fine if it meets the same Windows 64-bit and RAM floor and can run both Locimens and MT5 (plus any local model you choose to host there).

- Signed-in Locimens account
- Network access for auth, downloads, and cloud LLM providers
Download
- Sign in on the website.
- Open Accounts (or use Download desktop on the landing page / Marketplace).
- Download the Locimens Windows installer. Every plan gets the same desktop app; plan limits apply after you sign in.
If downloads are temporarily blocked for a release window, Accounts will show a waitlist or notice instead of a file.
Install
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Follow the prompts; accept defaults unless you need a custom install location.
- Launch Locimens from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
First launch
- Allow local services (MCP bridge / LLM gateway) if your firewall prompts.
- Sign in with your Locimens account.
- Confirm no second Locimens instance is already bound to the same local ports.
Plan limits
Device registration counts against your plan. Remove old devices from your account when you replace hardware.
