Dave is a self-learning Locimens agent with trader and mentor cycles.

Dave

Dave is a self-learning agent with two roles: a Trader (observes markets, researches, can trade on demo) and a Mentor (reviews progress and steers the next experiment).

Cycle

  1. Trader reads operator goals, memory, and tools
  2. Trader acts (analysis, optional demo orders if allowed)
  3. Mentor reviews outcomes and writes insights into memory

Before you run

  1. MT5 available if you want market tools (demo recommended)
  2. Header model set (opening Dave’s UI syncs Ollama/OpenRouter into his config)
  3. Open Agents → Dave and Start if stopped

Controls

Start / Stop, Pause / Resume, Restart, Wake, Run cycle, and Learning bootstrap (several cycles for early skill building).

Safety defaults

Operator policy defaults keep trading off and demo only until you explicitly enable trading in Goals & Risk settings.
