Risk controls

Approvals, caps, kill switches, and other Locimens risk guardrails.

Risk controls

Locimens is built so automation stays visible and constrained. Exact controls vary by agent, but common patterns include:

Trading modes

  • Paper — analysis and plans without placing orders
  • Demo — orders only on demo accounts when allowed
  • Live — real account risk; enable only after demo proof

Caps and guards

  • Per-symbol lot min/max
  • Prop-style daily / max loss percentages
  • Session / kill-zone blocks for new forex entries
  • NY-close windows that block new risk

Approvals and visibility

  • Tool calls should be inspectable in agent logs / UI
  • Prefer Mission text that states max positions and symbols to avoid
  • Use Pause to halt planning without killing the process

Kill switch habits

  1. Pause or Stop the agent process
  2. Disable AutoTrading in MT5 if you need a hard stop
  3. Use bulk close widgets only when you intend to flatten

Risk settings never replace your own broker and capital rules.
