How agents work
Most Locimens trading agents follow a similar loop:
- Context — read Mission, Tips, symbols, account state, and tool results
- Plan — produce a goal and tasks for the cycle
- Execute — call MCP tools (candles, positions, orders, watchers, news)
- React — watchers or Wake requests start another cycle
What you control
- Process Start / Stop / Pause / Wake
- Symbol lists and risk mode (paper / demo / live)
- Mission and Tips text
- Whether the agent may place orders
What the model does not replace
- Broker permissions and margin rules
- Your plan entitlements
- Explicit Pause / Stop / MT5 AutoTrading off
Logs
Use each agent’s terminal / log panel to inspect tool calls and errors. Prefer “hide noise” filters when available.
