Control Locimens agents and LLM settings remotely with the Telegram bot.

Telegram bot

The Locimens Telegram bot lets you manage plugin agents, view logs, check status, and adjust LLM settings from your phone.

Setup

  1. Create a bot with Telegram @BotFather and copy the token
  2. In Locimens Settings → Telegram, paste the token into Bot API token
  3. Start a chat with your bot and send any message (for example /start)
  4. Click Get my chat ID to fill your chat ID automatically
  5. Save settings

Main menu (/start)

Typical actions include:

  • Agents — status, start/stop style controls, logs
  • LLM Settings — provider / model switches when enabled
  • Status — overall system snapshot
  • Help — usage reminders

Exact buttons depend on your desktop build and which agents are installed.

Safety

  • Treat Telegram access like production credentials — anyone with the chat can attempt commands you enabled
  • Prefer demo accounts while testing remote start/stop
  • Revoke and rotate the bot token if it leaks
