FAQ
Is Locimens a broker?
No. Locimens connects to your MetaTrader 5 terminal and broker account. We do not custody funds.
Do my API keys leave my PC?
LLM provider keys are stored and used through the local desktop stack. The marketing website does not need your OpenRouter/Ollama keys. Cloud services handle auth, billing, and entitlements.
Do Beginner and Pro use different desktop apps?
No. Every plan downloads the same Locimens desktop installer. Plan differences are entitlements — demo vs live MT5, devices, agents, and marketplace access — not a separate Light desktop build. (A Light / Demo mailbox EA may still appear in Marketplace for free or demo-oriented plans; that is an Expert Advisor, not a different app.)
What PC do I need to run Locimens with MT5?
See Download & install for the full table. In short: Windows 10/11 64-bit, about 8 GB RAM for Locimens + MT5 with a cloud LLM (Ollama Cloud, OpenRouter, etc.), dual-core CPU, and both apps on the same machine.
If you run local models on that PC, requirements go up and depend on the model you choose — add that model’s RAM/disk (and GPU, if any) on top of the Locimens + MT5 baseline.
Can I run agents without MT5?
You can explore UI and some non-trading features, but trading automation expects a running MT5 terminal and healthy bridge/tools.
Are agents financial advice?
No. Agents provide automation and analysis tools. You are responsible for risk, compliance, and trading decisions.
Where is the full product manual?
You are reading it. Desktop Help still ships inside the app for offline reference; this Documents hub is the public A–Z guide.
