Verify MetaTrader 5, the Locimens EA, and the local bridge are healthy.

Connection checklist

Work top to bottom when Overview is empty or agents cannot see MT5.

Terminal

  • MetaTrader 5 is running
  • You are logged into the intended account
  • AutoTrading / algo trading is enabled
  • Symbol sessions are open if you expect live quotes

Expert Advisor

  • Locimens EA is installed under Experts
  • EA is attached to the expected chart/symbol
  • EA inputs allow trading / DLL / algo as required by your build
  • Chart shows the EA as active

Locimens desktop

  • App signed in with the correct account
  • Settings → MT5 paths look correct
  • MCP bridge is running (Settings → MCP health / discovery)
  • Overview refreshes without persistent disconnect errors

Agents

  • Header LLM connection is healthy (for planning agents)
  • Agent process is Started
  • Tools appear after Discover / refresh
