EA license & demo limits

Entitlement-based install

Marketplace installs the EA build you are licensed for (for example Demo vs PRO naming). You must be signed in on desktop so license checks and downloads succeed.

Demo vs live

• Demo accounts are the recommended starting point for every agent workflow.
• Live trading depends on your subscription and registered MT5 account limits.
• Locimens may collect MT5 login metadata for limit enforcement — not your broker password.

Registering MT5 accounts

Register MT5 accounts inside the desktop app so entitlements stay aligned with the accounts you actually use. If you hit a live-account limit, free a slot or upgrade.

If activation fails

1. Confirm plan status on Accounts.
2. Sign out and back in on desktop.
3. Reinstall the EA from Marketplace.
4. Re-attach the EA and confirm algo trading is on.
