News Agent ingests financial RSS headlines, stores them locally, and uses your configured local model stack to score market impact, sentiment, and affected assets.
What it does
- Pulls headlines from enabled RSS feeds on a schedule or Refresh
- Optionally analyzes new articles during ingest
- Lets you analyze a single headline on demand
- Exposes MCP tools so other agents can query news and signals
Daily workflow
- Open Agents → News Agent (or Marketplace → Manage plugins) and ensure the process is Running
- Review the feed — analyzed articles show impact, sentiment, sector, and symbols
- Filter, sort by priority, and search
- Analyze unanalyzed headlines as needed
Settings
- General — refresh interval, storage limits, items per source
- AI — endpoint/model and ingest analysis caps
- RSS Sources — enable or disable feeds
