When to use which agent
Pick an agent by the job, then install it from the marketplace. These answers match the public agent docs. Locimens is not a broker and this is not investment advice. Start on demo. Risk guards, Pause, Stop, and MetaTrader AutoTrading still apply.
When should I use Molly?
Use Molly when you want an autonomous trading agent that watches your symbols, builds multi-timeframe market context, plans tasks, and can place or manage MT5 orders when you allow it. She produces a Plan and executes steps through MCP tools, and she can wake for another cycle when market events arrive. See Molly.
When should I use Ramone?
Use Ramone when you want the same autonomous planning loop as Molly, plus internal watch rules and a choice of task engines (AI or MCP). He builds multi-timeframe context and a Plan, then uses those extra watch and engine controls. See Ramone.
When should I use Simone?
Use Simone when you want the model to interpret fixed indicator math instead of inventing indicator values. Chart snapshots such as LinReg, UT Bot, and Bollinger width state are computed in code. The model reads that JSON in analysis, plans, and owner chat. See Simone.
When should I use Dave?
Use Dave when you want a self-learning loop with two roles. The Trader observes markets, researches, and can trade on demo when you allow it. The Mentor reviews progress and writes the next experiment into memory. See Dave.
When should I use News Agent?
Use News Agent when you want RSS headlines stored locally, scored for market impact, sentiment, and affected assets, then exposed as signals to other agents. It is a news ingest and scoring plugin, not a chart trader. See News Agent.
